The surface is smooth and non-porous and therefore, cleans easily and is effectively stain resistant. The smooth surface also ensures that you are without any sharp edges or rough finishes.
The high tensile strength that Fiberglass has allows the pool shell to flex without cracking to accommodate earth movement. This is one of the reasons that plane manufacturers are using fiberglass to build planes!
